19+ Adult Students
The 19+ Adult Education Bursary is for students aged 19+ who do not qualify for the Advanced Learner Loan, but may need support with costs related to their education such as travel, books or course materials.

To be eligible, you must:

Be enrolled on a course which is Level 2 or below, or on a Level 3 course and in receipt of a fee concession and therefore not eligible for Advanced Learner Loan

Meet the residency requirements stipulated by the ESFA Funding Guidance and have the right to live in the UK

Have a household gross income of below £30,000, or be in receipt of income related benefits.
Asylum Seekers
If you are being supported under section VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999, you may be able to apply for some support in kind to help with the costs associated with your course.
