To be eligible for financial support, we need to see evidence of your income:

All bursaries are assessed, based on a maximum gross household income of £30,000 per annum

You will need to upload at least one of the pieces of evidence below

All benefit letters must be recent (within 3 months) and if older than stated below must be supported with a bank statement to confirm receipt of the benefit is ongoing​

If you are a 16-19, 19+ Continuer or 19-25 EHCP learner, you must provide at least one piece of evidence marked with an asterisk (**) below to qualify for Free College Meals.​​​​​
Household Income Evidence
If the statement is not in your name, it must include your full address.

It must be your most recent statement.
​
We must see your 'take home' pay on the statement.

For Free College Meals, we must see your last three full Universal Credit Assessment statements including the 'take home' pay and any deductions.
We will need to see your Aspen card or Home Office letter confirming you are receiving support under part VI Immigration and Asylum Act 1999.
Income Support/Jobseeker's Allowance/Employment and Support Allowance/Pension Credit
We will need to see your letter, stating the benefit you receive, dated within the last three months or a supporting bank statement showing a payment that has been made within the last three months. The details must match yours.
Housing Benefit/Council Tax Support
We will need to see your letter, stating the support you receive, dated within the last three months. The details must match yours.
We will need to see the last three consecutive pay slips for all household members working or a P60 for the previous tax year (i.e. April 2025) for all household members working. The total gross pay before tax must be under £30,000.
