What evidence do I need to provide?
To be eligible for financial support, you must have the legal right to reside in the United Kingdom at the start of your study programme and provide appropriate supporting evidence. All documents must clearly display your name and comply with ESFA funding guidelines

UK and Republic of Ireland

UK or Republic of Ireland Passport

UK or Republic of Ireland Birth Certificate
EU/EEA Settlement Scheme
Learners with status under the EU Settlement Scheme must provide evidence of their Settled or Pre-Settled Status, such as a UKVI share code or other official confirmation of their immigration status from the Home Office

Indefinite Leave to Enter or Remain
Learners with Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) must provide evidence of their immigration status, such as a UKVI eVisa, Biometric Residence Permit (BRP), passport containing an ILR endorsement, or other official Home Office documentation confirming their settled status.
